The College of Wooster men's tennis team won its second match in as many days, this time demonstrating its strong depth as the Fighting Scots won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles and swept the bottom half of the singles lineup to down John Carroll University 5-4 during a match Saturday at Paramount Tennis Club in Medina, Ohio.

While it was played early, the decisive match may have come at second doubles as Willy Nelson and Milo Saurman edged past their opponents by an 8-6 score to give Wooster (2-3) a 2-1 lead. Also winning in doubles for the Scots was the Zack Rotter-John Schulz pairing, 8-2 at No. 3.

Nelson, Saurman, and Rotter also provided singles victories. Nelson made quick work of his foe at the fourth position, posting the rare double-bagel (6-0, 6-0). Saurman and Rotter put up matching 6-3, 6-4 triumphs at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.

The Scots do not compete again until their annual spring break training trip to Hilton Head, S.C.
