The College of Wooster men's tennis team excelled in the classroom, as a duo of Fighting Scots earned Scholar-Athlete honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. First-year Titas Bera and sophomore Jack Buchan earned the honors.

Bera added this honor to cap a stellar freshman season. On the court, the North Potomac, Md. native ended the year as the ITA's 20th-ranked singles player. He was a second team all-conference selection, turning in 16 singles wins and 10 doubles wins.

Buchan earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for the second consecutive year. On the court, the sophomore turned in a 12-win campaign in singles play, primarily playing at No. 3.

Wooster is one of just two North Coast Athletic Conference schools to have individuals recognized. To qualify, a player must be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters. Over 2,500 student-athletes across all divisions in both genders earned this honor.
