ITA Academic Release - Div. III Men

The College of Wooster men's tennis team was well represented on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Scholar-Athlete list, as seven Fighting Scots qualified. Additionally, the men's program was among the squads recognized by the organization on Wednesday as an All-Academic Team.

Juniors Luke Borgelt and Saeed Husain earned their second ITA Scholar-Athlete certificate, while senior Nathan Devereux, sophomores Alon Liberman, Nebyou Minassie, and Ben Schrock, and first-year Connor Streeter collected their first certificate. Earlier this summer, Borgelt, Husain, and Liberman were among the record 126 Scots who qualified for the North Coast Athletic Conference's Academic Honor Roll.

Student-athletes must have a GPA of at least 3.5 for the current academic year to qualify for the ITA Scholar-Athlete honor, while teams must have a GPA of at least 3.2 for the most recent academic year. Within Div. III men's programs, 958 student-athletes and 125 teams qualified this year.
