In their lone dual match of the month, The College of Wooster men's tennis team swept the University of Mount Union 9-0 on Saturday.
Head coach Adam Clark was credited with his first win as a Fighting Scot.
The doubles teams lost just five games collectively. The No. 2 team of Shivam Dewan and Nebyou Minassie had a perfect frame at 8-0. Alex Drewes and Patrick Johnson won 8-2 in the No. 1 flight, and the No. 3 team of Alex Anikeeff and Jeremy Williams won 8-3.
The Scots then won in straight sets in singles play.
Drewes won the No. 1 flight 6-2, 6-1, while Dewan won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2.
Minassie took a 6-3, 6-0 win at the No. 3 flight, and Johnson won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4.
Finally, Connor Streeter at No. 5 and Williams at No. 6 each collected 6-0, 6-0 wins.
The men return to play next weekend when they take part in the Oberlin Invitational.
