Demi Hart

College of Wooster freshman Demi Hart was named North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced, after helping the Scots collect four wins in as many games last week.

The Scots are off to their most successful start in program history (12-4), and Hart has been a big reason why, as the outfielder is batting .452 and currently owns an 11-game hitting streak.

Last week, Hart was 6-for-11 at the plate with a double and two RBI. On Wednesday, she went 2-for-2 with a walk in a 10-0 win over University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and later went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 5-1 victory versus Smith College.

Hart and company are headed to Marietta College tomorrow for a doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
