College of Wooster outfielder Demi Hart put the finishing touches on a strong offensive campaign last week, and the North Coast Athletic Conference awarded her with the second Player-of-the-Week honor of her career, the league office announce late Monday.

Hart helped the Fighting Scots to a strong 4-2 mark against NCAC opponents on the week, as she went 10-for-19 (.526) at the plate while slugging over 1.000 (1.158) with six doubles, two home runs, and 10 RBI.

The sophomore started the week by going 3-for-5 in a doubleheader split with Denison University, which included an RBI double against NCAC Pitcher of the Week Rebecca Dyer.

Then against Ohio Wesleyan University, Hart drove in both runs in the Scots' 2-1 opening-game victory, and in a one-run setback in the nightcap, she hit the first home run of her career, a two-run shot to center field, to give her four RBI on the afternoon.

Finally, in the Scots' sweep over Oberlin College, Hart went 5-for-9 with a home run, four doubles, and six RBI to cap off an outstanding week.
