Junk-ball contact pitcher who will be counted on to provide valuable innings in relief of Wooster’s starting pitchers.
2015: Continued to serve as the go-to reliever in the circle, appearing in 12 games with one start … Tossed 22.2 innings on the year, including complete-game six-inning effort in finale against DePauw (April 26) … Had five scoreless appearances to her credit.
2014: Threw 64.0 innings over 22 appearances during her debut season, finishing with 4-4 record and 3.72 ERA … Was primarily the team’s top reliever, but did make five starts … Highlight came in final game of spring break trip, as she allowed just two hits and struck out season-high four batters in complete-game victory over Clarkson (March 19) … Picked up win against Oberlin (March 31), yielding just one hit in three innings of relief.
Prior to Wooster: Received several accolades senior season at Chillicothe High School, including first-team all-state, District Player of the Year (southeast, Division I), and Chillicothe Gazette Player of the Year … Helped Cavaliers to their winningest season ever (19-6) and set single-season home run record as a senior … Overall, was a two-time all-state, three-time all-district, and three-time all-league selection in softball … Also a varsity volleyball player.
