Kasey Fiedler

Three members of The College of Wooster softball team garnered Easton Scholar-Athlete honors as awarded by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for the 2015-16 season, the Louisville, Ky. based organization announced recently.

Wooster's honorees were sophomore Autumn Brostek, alumna Kasey Fiedler, and senior Jenna Kendall.

To earn this honor, student-athletes need to have at least a 3.5 grade-point average and maintain varsity status. Wooster's total ranked third among its North Coast Athletic Conference peers that were recognized.

The Fighting Scots were also honored as a team for their performance, as Wooster carried a 3.19 grade-point average last year.
