Olivia Johnson

Senior Olivia Johnson was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week after helping Wooster to two wins in her two appearances against Denison over the weekend.

Johnson started both games, going 2-0 and going the distance in each game. She totaled 12 innings, struck out 19 and allowed just three earned runs for a 1.75 ERA.

Johnson made her season debut allowing just two runs in a 5-2 win. She struck out 11, including six straight in the first and second innings.

In her second game, she needed just five innings as the offense forced the run rule in a 9-1 win. She collected eight strikeouts and allowed just one run.

Wooster returns to action this weekend when they face off against Case Western Reserve University.
