Seven individuals from The College of Wooster softball team earned 2021-22 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors as recently announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

Rachael Dudziak, Stacey Harris, Ciara Herbert, Gabby Lakes, Daphne Pate, Kylie Schmitz and Brooke Swain were all recognized after earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for the 2021-22 acadmic year. NCAA Division III led the way across all divisions with 2,227 student-athletes on the list.

This is the third time Lakes, Pate and Swain have earned the honor. Swain adds to her list of academic honors for the year which also includes the North Coast Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete award and Wooster's David Guldin award.

Dudziak and Schmitz were honored for the second time, while Harris and Herbert were recognized for the first time.

The softball team concluded its year with an 18-23 record with an appearance in the NCAC Tournament.
