Meszaros Claims First NCAC Athlete Of The Week Honor
First-year batted .600 across six games last week
First-year leadoff batter Jillian Meszaros hit .600 (12-20) across six games for The College of Wooster softball team last week, earning her first ever North Coast Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week award.
Her week included a team-high 12 hits, 15 total bases, seven runs scored, four walks and three doubles. Her .750 slugging percentage and her .667 on base percentage topped the team, and Meszaros reached safely in each game.
That included four multi-hit games. Of note, she went 3-for-4 with three RBI against New England and 3-for-4 with two doubles against Kalamazoo.
Mesazros rides a nine-game hitting streak as the Scots host Wittenberg University on Saturday in their home and NCAC opener.
