WOOSTER, Ohio – The College of Wooster swimming and diving team hosted its second straight home dual meet, with the women improving to 3-0 via a 165-134 win over visiting Ohio Northern University, and the men dropping their third in a row 228-70 in non-conference action Saturday.

The women were led by Samira El-Adawy, and her three first-place efforts, including a 2:01.15 finish in the 200 freestyle that set the tone early. She went on to touch first in the 100 freestyle (56:39) and 400 IM (4:52.10), rounding out a solid afternoon.

Joining El-Adawy as a top scorer on the women's squad was Mariah McGovern, who won two individual races, and helped the 200 freestyle relay claim a victory in 1:42.03. Her solo victories came in the 1000 freestyle (10:58.66) and 200 backstroke (2:17.77).
