Peter Parisi won five individual events in two meets last week to lead The College of Wooster men's swimming and diving team to victories over Hiram College and Defiance University, earning him North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete-of-the-Week honors, the league announced late Sunday.

The junior standout got his week started Friday by guiding the Scots to their first dual meet victory of the season, a 122-64 win over NCAC opponent Hiram. Parisi was one of just two double-winners on the men's side, as he touched the wall first in both the 50-meter freestyle (25.44) and 100-meter freestyle (57.53).

Then Saturday in a "double dual" that included Defiance and Ohio Wesleyan University, Parisi helped Wooster roll past Defiance (164-34) and was the day's lone triple winner. He took first-place in the 50-yard free (21.96) and 100-yard free (49.07), and also added a triumph in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.71).

The Scots have another busy week ahead as they host University of Mount Union Friday at 5:30 p.m., and then Malone University Saturday at 1 p.m.
