The College of Wooster's women's swimming and diving team posted a decisive 212-63 victory over Lake Erie College on Saturday, and combined with the men's narrow 162-118 loss, the Fighting Scots outscored Lake Erie by a 330-225 margin overall, which allowed them to place third overall in the Greater Cleveland Tournament.

The women had seven different individual winners, highlighted by Samira El-Adawy, Kate Hunt and Morgan Hughes, who each touched first in two events. El-Adawy's victories came in the 200 freestyle (2:00.08) and 200 backstroke (2:17.87), while Hunt picked up wins in the 50 freestyle (24.87) and 500 freestyle (5:25.02), and Hughes in the 100 freestyle (54.25) and 100 butterfly (1:01.20).

Wooster's other wins came from Kara Markham, Mariah McGovern, Anna Duke, and diver Acacia Cordova, in that order, while the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams also outpaced their opposition.

The men's team got its individual triumphs thanks to Peter Parisi and Bryan Smith, who won the 50 freestyle (21.51) and one meter diving event (173.20), respectively. Parisi also teamed with Imre Namath, James Love, and Zackary Pool to take the 400 freestyle relay in a time of 3:22.42.

The Scots will compete in a traditional dual meet next week when they visit Westminster (Pa.) College for a 1 p.m. start.
