The College of Wooster's men's and women's swimming and diving teams each notched wins over Ohio Wesleyan University this weekend, and sophomores Brian Maddock and Morgan Hughes were a big reason why, as the duo contributed towards eight victories in individual and relay events, en route to North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors on the men's and women's side, respectively.

Maddock keyed the men's narrow 144-140 victory by touching the wall first in the 200 back (2:00.32), 200 fly (2:01.15), and 200 IM (2:00.57), and he also swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay (1:37.36).

Hughes helped the women record a rather comfortable 167-117 victory with individual triumphs in the 50 free (25.50) and 100 free (54.86), and by swimming the anchor leg on the winning 200 medley relay (1:53.04) and 400 medley relay (3:46.10).

The Fighting Scots will be back in action this weekend with two meets, as they visit University of Mount Union on Friday evening (5:30 p.m.), and then head home to host Defiance College and Malone University on Saturday at 1 p.m.
