Two more school records were broken and two more NCAA "B" cuts were reached as both The College of Wooster men's and women's swimming and diving teams maintained their position in the standings from the day prior – eighth and fourth, respectively – to conclude the North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at Granville, Ohio.

Evan Hagedorn put his name in the record books as an individual, as he touched the wall in 2:10.15 during the prelims of the 200 breaststroke to edge out a seven-year old school record (2:11.66). He nearly matched that time during the consolation heat (2:10.17) on his way to 15th-place in the event. Also scoring in the 200 breaststroke were Jacob Earle (2:14.23), Frayne Poeting (2:15.30), and Jesse Phillips (2:18.65), in 18th, 20th, and 25th, respectively.

Hagedorn also helped the 400 freestyle relay team, consisting of Poeting, Brian Maddock, and Earle to an eighth-place finish of 3:15.40, which was an NCAA "B" cut.

Maddock was another individual who turned in a valuable performance, as he qualified for the championship heat of the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:54.76, and then finished a bit slower (1:58.06) during the finals en route to an eighth-place finish. Conner Gelwicks placed 11th in that same event in 1:56.62, while Zackary Pool touched 18th in 2:02.46 and James Lorenzin finished 27th in 2:10.50.

Wooster scored some quality points in the 200 butterfly, especially in the consolation heat, where Pool (1:59.17), Avery Wilson (1:59.84), and James Love (2:01.84) came in as a unit, touching 15th, 16th, and 17th, respectively, while Travis Burgess won the bonus heat (19th) in 2:02.01 and Steven Hardy took 25th in 2:12.61.

Rounding out the men's scorers were four competitors in the 1650 freestyle, highlighted by Gelwicks, who came in at 16:52.95, which was good for 14th. Lorenzin was 24th in that event in 17:53.28, while Michael Sokolich (18:14.50) hit the wall 27th and Sebastian Weber (18:18.22) came in 28th. Finally, Aaron Brown scored in the 100 freestyle with a 23rd-place effort of 48.52.

Over on the women's side, Courtney McGovern capped off her impressive debut at the NCAC's with her third appearance in a championship final. This time, McGovern qualified for the championship heat of the 200 backstroke with a school record and "B" cut time of 2:04.26 during the prelims, and then shaved off even more time in the finals to place second overall in 2:02.49. She was only a quarter of a second off the winner's pace (2:02.24).

Three other Scots placed in the 200 backstroke, with Sarah Litt (2:10.66) coming in 13th, Lena Smith in 22nd, and Mariah McGovern in 24th (2:18.20).

Wooster had top-nine performances in two other events, including the 400 freestyle relay team of Caitlin Shea, Alexandra Desotelle, Kaitlyn Fries, and Mariah McGovern, which cut over 14 seconds off their time in the prelims to place fourth in the evening session in 3:32.51.

Litt was other standout, as she took eighth in 200 butterfly in 2:11.18, while classmate Colleen Kill was right there with her with an 11th-place time of 2:11.39.

More valuable points were picked up in the 200 breaststroke, where Fries (2:28.37) was 11th, Desotelle (2:35.89) 18th, Rachel Appleton (2:33.85) won the bonus heat in 19th, and Erin Drake took 22nd in 2:36.80.

Also noteworthy, Theresa Dunne (18:23.62) and Irene Goldsmith (19:20.88) placed 11th and 19th, respectively, in the 1650 freestyle, while in 100 freestyle, Morgan Hughes finished in 14th in 53.38, and right behind her was Anna McGlade in 15th in 53.55.
