CANTON, Ohio – The College of Wooster swimming and diving team continued its strong start to its dual-meet slate, as the men downed Malone University 146-137, and the women were victorious over Malone (174-101) and Ursuline College (230-30) on Friday evening at C.T. Branin Natatorium.

Junior Hannah Langer and sophomore Molly Likins led the way on the women's side. Both were part of the Scots' winning 200 medley relay that touched at 1:51.71, as were juniors Anne Bowers and Brooke Brown. Bowers' 2:14.04 in the 200 butterfly was the time to beat on the night, as was junior Madison Whitman's 4:51.71 in the 400 individual medley. First-year Lucie Redmann rounded out the winners with 179.65 points on the one-meter diving board.

Of note, Wooster's women have now won 16 straight dual meets.

Junior Josh Gluck was the headliner for Wooster's men's team. His winning time of 53.36 in the 100 backstroke was just a touch off his personal-best of 53.01. The biology major returned later to win the 200 breaststroke at 2:18.74.

Eric Jacques picked up key points in the diving well, as the sophomore won the one-meter competition with 245.50 points, and then logged a score of 185.52 while competing unopposed on the three-meter board.
