2019-20 CSCAA NCAA Div. III All-America Release

The College of Wooster's Molly Likins and Madison Whitman are among the NCAA Div. III All-Americans for the 2019-20 season, which were announced on Wednesday by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.

Likins, a sophomore, earned All-America honors in the 100 breaststroke. She had the seventh-fastest time in Div. III this year at 1:02.58, which is the school record. Whitman, a junior, collected an All-America certificate in the 200 breaststroke. Whitman's school-record time of 2:18.30 was the 12th-fastest in Div. III this year.

Likins and Whitman are the first Fighting Scots to earn All-America honors since Kate Hunt in 2013. That year, Hunt placed seventh at the Div. III Championships in the 200 butterfly and was 10th in the 100 butterfly. In all, Wooster women's swimming and diving program has 203 all-time All-America honors (121 individual honors, 82 relay honors).

For this year, the CSCAA board awarded All-America honors to individuals and relays for the event(s) they were selected to the Div. III Championships field in. In normal years, individuals and relays who place in the top eight at the Div. III Championships earn first-team All-America honors, while those in places nine through 16 earn second-team All-America status.
