The College of Wooster closed out its season in convincing fashion, as the Fighting Scots won every swimming event contested on Sunday at the Wooster End of Season Meet, while two more Timken Natatorium records were broken. In the scoring column, Wooster more than doubled-up runner-up Hiram College, as the men tallied 1,187.5 points and the women scored 1,130 over the two days of action.

First-year Josh Pearson, who set a school record in the 400 individual medley and was part of four Timken Natatorium records on Saturday, added to his haul with the winning time of 16:23.55 in the 1,650 freestyle. Pearson's time was over 10 seconds faster than the previous pool record of 16:33.78. The Scots' rookie sensation made it a perfect 8-for-8 when it came to first-place finishes on the week, as he teamed up with seniors Josh Gluck, Craig Klumpp, and Wyatt Foss to win the 400 freestyle relay at 3:16.10.

Gluck, who broke the Timken Natatorium record with a winning time of 1:51.60 in the 200 backstroke, finished the week as a six-time winner. Of note, Gluck's time marked a new personal-best, and it's the second-fastest time in program history. Foss, who was first to touch in the 100 freestyle (48.33) was also a six-time winner.

Other men's winners included first-year Lyonel Fritsch in the 100 individual medley (58.47) and 200 butterfly (2:03.20), junior Eric Jacques on the one-meter diving board (367.6 points), and Klumpp in the 200 breaststroke (2:12.00).

First-year Emma Connors, first-year Maddie Becker, junior Molly Likins, and senior Lexi Riley-DiPaolo capped the meet with the winning time of 3:47.76 in the 400 freestyle relay, and for Likins, that marked her seventh first-place effort of the week.

Individually, Becker doubled up on Sunday first-place finishes with times of 1:02.36 and 2:32.78 in the 100 individual medley and 200 breaststroke, respectively. Notable, Becker's time is the tops at Timken Natatorium since the event started being contested at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships with the 2016-17 season. It's unknown at this time if it's the official natatorium record, as the event was regularly contested during women's meets for a few years in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Sophomore Kay Wetmore scored a pair of wins on Sunday with the top times of 2:18.83 and 18:21.49 in the 200 butterfly and 1,650 freestyle, respectively. Connors (100 freestyle, 55.75) and senior Hannah Langer (200 backstroke, 2:11.88) rounded out the winners.

Hiram finished with 514 points on the men's side and 542 on the women's. Wittenberg University rounded out the competing institutions. The Tigers had 148.5 men's points and 247 women's.
