Scots Back on CSCAA's Scholar All-America Team

Wooster Swimming & Diving Teams CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Release

The College of Wooster's men's and women's swimming and diving teams earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team honors for the spring 2023 semester, as announced recently by the organization. Over 700 teams were honored by the organization.

Wooster's academic accomplishments were led by senior Noah Golovan's selection to receive a prestigious $10,000 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Sophomore Tucke Andrewjeski, junior Maddie Becker, sophomore Ollie Bream, sophomore Hallie Findlan, Golovan, sophomore Ryan Gross, junior Josh Pearson, and senior Kay Wetmore were all named to College Sports Communicators' inaugural Academic All-District® Team for swimming & diving. Sixty percent of eligible women's swimmers and divers qualified for the North Coast Athletic Conference's Academic Honor Roll earlier this summer, while the men placed 10 individuals on the list.

Wooster's men's swimming and diving team is coming off a third-place finish at the NCAC Championships, with that marking the program's highest since 2003. Wooster's women were fourth at Div. III's preeminent conference meet.

To qualify for CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors, teams must achieve at least a 3.0 GPA for the most recent academic semester.
