<a href= The College of Wooster indoor track & field team competed at Denison University's "Last Chance" meet Friday, a non-scoring invitational that included several North Coast Athletic Conference schools, and women's athlete Abena Boamah-Acheampong broke her own school record in the high jump highlighting several impressive individual performances.

Just a month ago, Boamah-Acheampong broke Wooster's all-time high jump record with a 5 feet, 3 inch effort at the NCAC Relays, but she bettered that effort Friday with a 5 feet, 4.5 inch leap that topped eight others in the event.

Also making some noise at the meet was Miriam Wise, who placed second in both the women's long jump (14 feet, 7.25 inches) and triple jump (32 feet, 3.5 inches), and Stephanie McShane who notched a third place finish in the 55 meter dash in 7.74 seconds.

The men were led by Josh Kime and Bryan Albani, who both earned first place honors in their respective events. Kime won the men's shot put, topping a field of 25 with his 45 feet, 9.75 inch throw, while Albani crossed the finish line first in the 55 meter hurdles in 7.93 seconds.

Other noteworthy efforts on the men's side included Eric Dyer's second place triple jump (42 feet, 5.5 inches) and brothers Terry and Rik Workman, who raced to second and third place finishes in the one mile run with times of 4:34.36 and 4:37.69, respectively.

The Fighting Scots will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Granville, Ohio for the NCAC Championships on Mar. 5-6.
