<a href= In a final tune-up prior to the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, Kenyon College, Ohio Wesleyan University, and The College of Wooster all converged at Denison University Friday for a non-scoring meet for the four track & field teams.

The Fighting Scots had a number of strong showings, highlighted by six individual victories from their women's squad. Miriam Wise led a 1-2-3 effort in the long jump with a mark of 15 feet, 6 inches, and she was followed by teammates KateLynn Riley and Elizabeth Wardrop in second (15 feet, 4 inches) and third (15 feet, 3.25 inches), respectively. Riley, a versatile performer, also notched a win via her throw of 119 feet, 8 inches in the javelin, and also in the field, Abena Boamah-Acheampong took top honors in the high jump (5 feet, 1.25 inches).

On the track, three Scots crossed the finish line first in the form of Kelsie Herring in the 800 meters (2:25.61), Erin Plews-Ogan in the 3000 meters (11:08.27), and Whitney Rappole in the 400 hurdles (1:08.37).

The men's competition included Wooster victories from Bryan Albani and Josh Kime. Albani nipped the runner-up from Ohio Wesleyan at the line in the 110 hurdles at 15.68 seconds to 15.71, while Kime put forth one of his top efforts in the shot put with a heave of 46 feet, 6.75 inches.

The Scots, who also won a pair of relays Friday, will now make final preparations for next weekend's NCAC Championships.
