<a href= The College of Wooster men's and women's track & field teams combined for 10 individual victories at the Kenyon Classic, which was essentially a non-scoring, tri-meet consisting of host Kenyon College, Waynesburg University, and the Fighting Scots.

Wooster's top performer was senior jump specialist Eric Dyer, who led five competitors in the long jump (6.04 meters) as well as three in the triple jump (13.26 meters) for a pair of wins. Also in the field, classmate Jon Mathis took top honors in the high jump (1.73 meters).

On the track, it was another set of seniors – Bryan Albani, Julian Mangano, and Matthew Solter – pacing the way for the Scots. Albani bested the field in the 55-meter hurdles (7.94), Mangano finished first out of 12 competitors in the 800 meters (2:02.88), and Solter was the fastest of six in the 400 meters (55.21).

Leading the Wooster women was freshman Stephanie McShane, who sprinted to the line first in the 55 meters (7.86) and nearly added a second victory in the 200 meters but was just three hundredths (27.35) short of the winner. Sophomore teammate Kelsie Herring gave the Scots another triumph on the track by leading a pack of nine in the 800 meters (2:29.43).

In the field, Wooster performed well in the jumps, with freshman Abena Boamah-Acheampong extending her streak of high jump wins to four, this time with a mark of 1.58 meters, and junior Miriam Wise was the top competitor in the triple jump (10.03 meters).

Next weekend, the Scots will be at the Denison Invitational while a couple of individuals will take part in the first-ever pentathlon as part of the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships. The pentathlon will take place at Oberlin, Ohio, and will be counted towards the following weekend's conference meet.
