Abena Boamah-Acheampong concluded another impressive season Friday, as The College of Wooster's junior standout finished in 15th-place during the high jump competition at the NCAA Div. III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Claremont, Calif.

Making her second consecutive appearance at the national meet, Boamah-Acheampong cleared the first two heights in as many attempts, the second at 5 feet, 2.5 inches. However, the bar proved problematic on the third (5 feet, 4.25 inches) as she settled for 15th-place in the elite 22-member field.

Boamah-Acheampong became an All-American last season when she tied for eighth-place at the NCAA's with a then-school record jump of 5 feet, 5.75 inches. Earlier this spring, she reset that mark (5 feet, 6 inches) at the All-Ohio Championships.
