Abena Boamah-Acheampong of The College of Wooster tied for 10th-place during Saturday's women's high jump competition at the NCAA Div. III Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Ill.

Coming off a job interview in Memphis, Tenn., the day prior, the Fighting Scots' standout senior may not have been completely focused as she did not meet her typical standard. She easily cleared the first two heights, 5 feet, 1 inches and 5 feet, 3 inches, on her first attempts, but then failed to get over 5 feet, 5 inches.

Just last week, Boamah-Acheampong equaled her school record of 5 feet, 6 inches in winning the North Coast Athletic Conference high jump championship.

Boamah-Acheampong and the rest of the Wooster team now turn their attention to the outdoor season, which begins Friday with the Bulls Invitational, hosted by NCAA Div. I University of South Florida.
