The College of Wooster track & field programs traveled to Oberlin, Ohio, on Saturday afternoon for the Bob Kahn Invitational, as the women led the way with 102 points for a second-place team finish, followed by the men at third with 96 points as part of the eight-team event.

On the women's side, junior Carolyn Webster took home first-place honors in the 100 hurdles (16.82) and the long jump (16 feet, 9.75 inches) while claiming a runner-up finish in the high jump (5 feet, 1 inch).

First-year Georgia Hopps-Weber recorded a new collegiate best in the pole vault (11 feet, .25 inches) en route to the Fighting Scots' second runner-up claim of the day, followed by senior Mackenzie Kellar in third (10 feet).

Also competing in the jumps was junior Mallory Crane, who finished fourth in the triple jump (32 feet) and fifth in the long jump (14 feet, 6 inches)

In the short sprints, junior Erika Womack placed fifth in the 100 (13.59) and seventh in the 200 (27.99), while sophomore Korri Palmer came in eighth place in the 100 (13.88).

First-year Emma Busch led the Scots in the 5,000 meters with a fourth-place time of 20:31.51. Switching to the 400 intermediate hurdles, first-year Jena Copley came in fifth (1:15.51) and sophomore Audrey Cordova seventh (1:17.93), and in the mid-distance events, junior Emani Kelley logged a sixth-place time in the 800 (2:33.17).

In the 4x400 relay, the quartet of Copley, Kellar, Kelley, and junior Julia Higgins crossed the line at 4:22.28 to round out the top three.

On the men's side, juniors Jack Petrecca and David Westcott each tallied first-place honors, with Petrecca winning the high jump (6 feet, .75 inches) and Westcott the 10,000 meters (33:49.72).

Senior Jacob Nowell reached 12 feet in the pole vault to finish in second while sophomore thrower Spencer Wilson placed third in the discus (136 feet, 1 inch) and fourth in the shot put (39 feet, 7.75 inches).

Junior Simon Weyer went 2:05.50 to place sixth in the 800 and senior Tom Helsel claimed seventh in the triple jump (36 feet, 8.25 inches). Leading a Scot trio with a fifth-place finish in the 400 was first-year Matt Olszewski (53.38), followed by junior Myles Parker (54.11) and first-year Cam Pollard in eighth (57.15).
