Kelley Collects NCAC Player of the Week Honor After Breaking 25-Year-Old School Record on Saturday

The College of Wooster's Emani Kelley was selected as the North Coast Athletic Conference's Player of the Week for women's sprints and hurdles, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Kelley broke the program's 25-year-old school record in the 500 meters at Saturday's Kenyon College Classic. The senior earned the blue ribbon at 1:19.98 and later returned to the track to help the women's 4x400 relay post the runner-up time at 4:18.82.

Kelley's efforts helped Wooster win the eight-team meet with 161.5 points. Otterbein University was second at 93 points.
