Akwia Tilton

Junior Akwia Tilton of The College Wooster track and field program, leapt her way to North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors for women's field events, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Tilton won the long jump at Saturday's All-Ohio Championships with a mark of 17 feet, 6 inches. It's currently the top measurement within the NCAC this spring.

Noteworthy, Tilton's now a four-time NCAC Player of the Week selection.

Tilton, and her Wooster teammates, are back in action at this Saturday's Kenyon College Invitational.
