In what should come as no surprise, The College of Wooster's Carolyn Webster was selected as a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday after winning the NCAC Heptathlon on Sunday afternoon.

Webster, the first student-athlete in program history to win the heptathlon, logged 4,263 points over the two-day competition. Sticking with a familiar blueprint, Webster ultimately separated herself from the pack in the field events. Webster was the lone competitor to exceed 5 feet in the high jump, easily won the javelin throw at 101 feet, 9 inches, and upper her season-best in the long jump to 17 feet, 2.75 inches.

Webster's now earned the NCAC weekly award three times this year. She's now an 18-time All-NCAC performer, with that total ranking as the eighth-best at the College.

Next, Wooster's at the NCAC Championships, which take place this Friday and Saturday at Kenyon College.
