The College of Wooster's Joe Shilts is this week's North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for men's sprints and hurdles events.

Shilts, a junior, posted a NCAC-leading time of 58.24 in the 400-meter hurdles at last week's Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. He also went 17.17 in the 110-meter hurdles, with that time ranking in the top-five in the conference. Of note, Shilts' time in the 400 hurdles ranks within the top-35 in Div. III this spring.

Shilts, and his Wooster teammates, are back in action at the program's annual Wooster Invitational, which takes place April 1-2.
