Maya Vasta, Wooster Track & Field GRANVILLE, Ohio – The College of Wooster women's track and field team downed Denison University 78-69 on Wednesday afternoon, and with the victory, the Fighting Scots secured a winning record in head-to-head cross country and track & field duals against one of their North Coast Athletic Conference rivals. Denison's men beat Wooster 98-74.

Wooster, which went 4-2 in head-to-head duals against Denison this academic year, had a clean sweep on the women's side. There, Wooster won 24-31 in cross country and 88-25 at the indoor track & field showdown. Wooster's men scored a 74-73 win during the indoor track & field dual with the Big Red.

Doescher cleared 4 feet, 9.5 inches to finish as the runner-up in the high jump, while Bloom's 1:04.25 scored key points in the 400 meters.

First-year Isaiah Kidd led the men's team. He posted top marks of 40 feet, 7.75 inches and 20 feet, 3.5 inches in the triple and long jump, respectively. Classmate Vell Robinson complemented Kidd with a measuring of 38 feet, 6 inches in the long jump, which was second.
