The College of Wooster's women's track and field team accumulated four All-Great Lakes Region awards for the indoor season, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Junior Daysia Hargrave earned two of Wooster's four all-region honors, with those coming in the 60-meter hurdles and pentathlon. The five-time all-region performer just missed on qualifying for the NCAA Div. III Championships in the 60-meter hurdles. Hargrave did win the All-Ohio title in the event with a school-record time of 8.86 and was the North Coast Athletic Conference champion with a time of 8.88. Hargrave's third-place score of 2,993 points in the pentathlon marked a collegiate-best. Hargrave is now an eight-time all-conference performer.

Sophomore Evie Sanford, who broke Wooster's 28-year-old shot put record with a throw of 42 feet, 4.75 inches at Denison University's Bob Shannon Invitational, earns all-region honors for the first time. Sanford won the NCAC championship at 41 feet, 3 inches and exceeded 38 feet in the shot put at each meet this winter. Other first-place Sanford shot put finishes came at the Wooster Invitational (38 feet, 7.75 inches), the Denison Dual Meet Series (38 feet, 7.5 inches), and the Kenyon College Tune-Up (38 feet, 6.75 inches).

Senior Ainsley Wiesner, a Div. III Championships qualifier in the weight throw, upped her school record to 58 feet, 1 inch at Saturday's University of Mount Union Final Chance Meet. Wiesner entered the year holding the school record at 51 feet, 3 inches and upped the record four times over the last five meets leading up to the Div. III Championships. Wiesner was the NCAC champion (56 feet, 7.25 inches) and the All-Ohio champion (55 feet, 11.75 inches) in the weight throw and had two other first-place finishes in the event this season.

USTFCCCA All-Region honors are awarded to those who have a top-five individual or top-three relay performance within the region and whose coach is a member of the coaching organization.
