Senior Jessica Wingen had one of The College of Wooster's best individual seasons in recent memory, and for her efforts, was named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Second Team, the league office announced Tuesday, after she had been made an honorable mention pick the last two years.

Wingen is the only player in the NCAC this season to rank among the top-five in points, rebounds, and blocked shots. She finished fifth in points (14.4 ppg) and second in rebounds (9.1 rpg), both career-highs, while leading the league in blocks with 2.1 per game.

The 6-1 center recorded a double-double in 11 games on the year, including a career-best 26 points and 12 rebounds against Denison University Jan. 29. Wingen scored 20 points or more four times, highlighted by her 21 in the Scots' signature victory over Wittenberg University Feb. 9.

Wingen also pulled down 19 rebounds against Allegheny College Feb. 13, which was the most by a Scot in 14 years.

For her career, Wingen finishes first all-time in program history with 179 blocked shots, and sits fifth in rebounds (696) and ninth in points (970).
