The College of Wooster women's basketball team ended a three-game skid with an 84-79 win over Allegheny College in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Wednesday.

Wooster's work on the glass was noticable, winning the rebounding battle 42-35.

Allegheny had five score in double figures and was led by a 19-point performance from Rylee Donovan.

Janasko scored the first nine points for the Scots until Tilton connected on a 3-pointer, which wrapped a 12-3 run to start the game. Wooster controlled the first quarter 21-13 but slowed in the next 10 minutes as Allegheny took a 37-33 lead at halftime.

The teams tied three times in the third quarter, and Wooster never trailed again after Francis sunk a 3-pointer with 1:18 to go. Wooster took the third 22-16 and led 55-53.

Allegheny was able to tie it one more time at 57, but that sparked a 7-0 run by the Scots, which started with a 3-pointer from Fiorito.

Later in the quarter, McKoy scored six straight for Wooster after Allegheny cut the lead to one at 68-67. After McKoy's run, Tilton would hit another 3-pointer to give the Scots a six-point lead with 1:58 remaining.

From there, Wooster hit enough free throws to secure the win.

Wooster shot 43 percent (29-of-68) for the game, 39 percent (9-of-23) from range and 59 percent (17-of-29) from the line. Allegheny countered by shooting 52 percent (33-of-63) from the floor, 33 percent (6-of-18) from deep and 54 percent (7-of-13) from the line.
