Maria Janasko

Junior Maria Janasko was named an honorable mention to the 2020 All-North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Team, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Janasko averaged 14.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. In 16 conference games, she averaged 15.8 points and 8.4 rebounds.

Janasko was fifth in the conference in points per game, second in rebounds and in the top ten for blocks.

The junior recorded six double-doubles this year and scored in double figures in all but two games. She scored a career-high 29 points in an 84-79 win against Allegheny College on Jan. 29.

This is Janasko's first time being recognized on the All-NCAC teams.

DePauw University senior Sydney Kopp was named the Player of the Year. Wittenberg University's Delaney Williams was named the Top Defensive Player, and Allegheny's Zoe Youdell was named Newcomer of the Year. DePauw's Kris Huffman was named Coach of the Year after a 16-0 NCAC record.
