The Scots opened with a 28-point first quarter thanks to a game-starting 11-0 run. But that wasn't even their best scoring run after they upped it to 13-0 run between the first and second quarters.

They led 28-14 after one and 47-23 at halftime. Wooster was in control throughout, leading by as many as 32 in the third quarter. They never lost the lead.

Off the bench, Alex Walker scored four points, while Melissa Burtscher and Alexis Lovejoy each scored three.

Wooster outrebounded the Comets (2-6) 44-37 and won the second chance point battle 10-8. Wooster also had 21 points off 11 Olivet turnovers.

Wooster improves to 3-5 and will stay home Saturday, hosting Pittsburg-Greensburg at 2 p.m.
