Riccitelli Earns First Athlete of the Week Nod

First-year Mackenzie Riccitelli was named an North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for her contributions to the women's basketball team's 71-64 win against Franciscan University of Steubenville last week.

Riccitelli led the team to its first road win since the 2019-20 season, dropping a team-high 22 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. It was her second double-double of the season.

She also added four assists and four steals, each of which were season-highs.

She shot 6-of-15 from the floor and had a 9-of-12 mark from the foul line.

In four games this season, Riccitelli is averaging 17 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 2.8 apg.

The Scots are back in action Nov. 26 when they host Capital University.
