Nicole Marshall

Nicole Marshall, in her sixth year as a member of The College of Wooster's women's basketball staff, was named the program's interim head coach on January 14, 2020, and will remain in that role for the 2020-21 academic year. She was an assistant with the program prior to assuming her new role. As an assistant, Marshall's responsibilities included recruiting, practice and teaching the game, film management, and opponent scouting.

Prior to Wooster, Marshall gained coaching experience as a graduate assistant at Michigan State University. In her first year, Marshall helped lead the Spartans to a share of the Big Ten regular-season championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Marshall’s duties included assisting the coaching staff in daily basketball operations and updating scouting reports.

As a collegiate athlete, Marshall played at Lake Superior State University, a NCAA Div. II institution in Michigan. She totaled a school-record 55 3-pointers as a junior, and averaged double-digit points over her final two seasons.

Marshall completed her bachelor’s degree in communication from Lake Superior in 2011, and earned her master’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State in 2015.
