Rainey Sullivan and Janet Zahorksy each carded their career-best rounds to lead The College of Wooster women's golf team to a seventh-place finish during the two-day Mount Union Spring Invitational at Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance, Ohio.

Playing on the par-72, 6,089-yard course, Sullivan shot rounds of 82 and 83 (165), which were both lower than the 84 that she shot on this same course back in the fall, helping her earn a tie for fifth-place individually.

Zahorksy recorded a 91 on day one, and then during her second round, she shaved off seven strokes for an 84, which was her first time shooting under a 90. Her two-day total was a 175, which was good for a 20th-place tie among the field of 39.

Also noteworthy, Alyssa Gilbert shot a 202 (97-105), and Karley Walker, who was making her debut in the lineup, chipped in a 236 (119-117).

Next, the Scots will compete in the Purple & White Invitiational at Lockbourne, Ohio on March 30-31.
