The College of Wooster's spring season continued on Saturday, with the Fighting Scots taking part in a tri-match hosted by Denison University at the par-71, 5808-yard Denison Golf Club.

Senior Tongtong Wu, who birdied the opening hole and carded six pars on the day, led the Fighting Scots with an 85. Classmate Megan Gronau was next at 87, and she had eight pars on the scorecard, including three straight spanning holes three through five.

First-year Melissa Cooke and junior Kayla Audette rounded out the team scorers with 98s. Cooke had a three-hole stretch of pars on the back nine, while Audette pared two of her first three holes.

Senior Devon Matson rounded out the lineup with a 100, while sophomore Riley Thorr had a 100 while playing as an individual.

Denison ran away from the other two teams with a 325, and the Big Red's Megan Wong was the medalist at 75. Wittenberg University shot a 358, while Wooster had a 368.

Wooster's back in action on Sunday with the Scots hosting Ohio Wesleyan University at the Wooster Country Club at noon.
