As the schedule stands now, Sunday's match is the final one for The College of Wooster's women's golf team's seniors at Wooster Country Club, and Megan Gronau made it one to remember with a 76, a score tied for the second-lowest in program history.

Gronau, Sunday's runner-up, played the back-nine at the par-72, 5,803-yard Wooster Country Club at 1-under-par. The neuroscience major opened that stretch with back-to-back pars and moved back to even-par for the back-nine with a birdie on the par-five, 420-yard 13th hole. After three consecutive pars followed that birdie, Gronau put another circle on the scorecard with a birdie on the par-4, 299-yard No. 17. Overall, the senior had a field-leading 11 pars, and she was tops on the day in par-3 scoring (3.25 strokes per hole) and was second in par-4 (4.20 strokes per hole) and par-5 (5.25 strokes per hole) scoring.

Fellow senior Tongtong Wu tied for fourth-place with a season-best 84. The psychology major had nine pars, the third-best total on the day, and she had the third-best par-4 score at 4.60 strokes per hole.

First-year Melissa Cooke was next at 88, while junior Kayla Audette rounded out the team scorers with a 94. Sophomore Riley Thorr (101) rounded out the lineup, while senior Devon Matson (99) competed as an individual.

Denison University's Megan Wong matched Gronau with a 1-under-par on the back-nine, and she was the medalist with a 3-over-par 75. Denison's 326 bested Wooster's 342.

Of note, Gronau's 76 is the ninth round in program history of 76 or better, and it's just the second one to come at the Fighting Scots' home course, joining alumna Emily Howerton, who carded a 76 in the second round of the 2014 Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational.

Next, Wooster's hosting a two-day tournament at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna, Ohio on April 10-11.
