Carly Carey Will Represent Wooster in All-Star Contest
The Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse Coaches Association recently released the rosters for the IWLCA/Under-Armour North-South Senior All-Star Games for NCAA Div. I, II, and III, and Wooster graduate Carly Carey was chosen for the Div. III north squad.

Carly Carey Named Offensive Player of the Year, Seven Scots All-NCAC Selections
Coming off its fifth NCAC championship and a trip to the NCAA Div. III Tournament, seven members of the Wooster women’s lacrosse team landed on the all-conference team. Highlighting this year’s selections was senior Carly Carey, who was selected as the 2009 NCAC Offensive Player of the Year.

A five-goal flurry during a 5:42 stretch over the final minutes of the first half and opening moments of the second stanza, paved the way for the Wooster womens lacrosse teams to defeat Kenyon 11-6 and clinch its fifth North Coast Athletic Conference tournament championship overall.

Fresh off the heels of a productive 3-1 spring break trip through Pennsylvania and Maryland, the Fighting Scots' women's lacrosse team played two exciting games in western New York, coming out on the short end against Fredonia State University by a 10-9 count in two overtimes on Friday, followed Saturday by a high-scoring 18-13 setback to Nazareth College.
