Shelby Stone led The College of Wooster's women's lacrosse team to two wins last week, including a come-from-behind, overtime victory against Kenyon College, which earned the senior attacker North Coast Athletic Conference Player-of-the-Week honors, the league office announce late Monday.

One of the league's top offensive players, Stone is registering points at a career-high pace this spring. Last week, Stone scored seven goals and passed out four assists in just two games, pushing her season total to a team-high 36 points (24 goals, 12 assists).

On Thursday, the Fighting Scots trailed Kenyon 12-8 midway through the second half. That was when Stone took over, as she scored twice and assisted on another goal to help send the game to overtime, and then she rifled in the game-winner during the extra session to give Wooster a thrilling 14-13 win.

Stone continued to showcase her explosiveness in Saturday's rout over Franciscan University of Steubenville, as she delivered two goals and three assists in the opening 14 minutes, before her services were no longer necessary.

The Scots (6-2, 2-0 NCAC) will look to improve on their five-game winning streak when they host Baldwin Wallace University (3-2) on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
