Trio of Scot Laxers Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

The College of Wooster women's lacrosse team earned a quartet of honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association/Zag Sports for performance in the classroom.

For the third year in a row, the team earned Academic Honor Squad distinction for having a collective team grade-point-average of over 3.0. In all, 129 Div. III institutions were honored, including three other North Coast Athletic Conference programs.

Three individuals were named to the Academic Honor Roll in seniors Ashley Parry (sociology) and Shelby Stone (international relations), and junior Isabel Perman (history). Parry and Stone both received this honor last year.

To qualify for Academic Honor Roll distinction, student-athletes must have reached junior status academically and had a grade-point-average of 3.50 or better during the 2015 season. In all, 404 Div. III student-athletes earned this honor including five others from the NCAC.
