Hardy Captures Another NCAC Athlete of the Week Award

Lizzie Hardy, Wooster Lacrosse The College of Wooster's Lizzie Hardy was named North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for the second time this spring. Hardy earned this honor for her defensive play in a 13-12 win over Kenyon College and a 17-14 loss at DePauw University last week.

Hardy collected 10 groundballs and caused five turnovers last week, with six of the groundballs and two of the caused turnovers coming in Tuesday night's win over Kenyon. Hardy added 10 draw controls on the week and had the game-clinching one in Tuesday's win over Kenyon inside the final minute.

Hardy ranks within the top-five in the NCAC in draw controls (second, 6.15), groundballs (third, 3.15), and caused turnovers (fifth, 1.69) per game this spring.

Wooster (10-3, 2-2 NCAC) travels to Ohio Wesleyan University (12-2, 4-0 NCAC) for a 7 p.m. game on Wednesday, April 24.
