In a rematch of last year's North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals, The College of Wooster and Allegheny College battled to a 110-minute draw Wednesday afternoon in a women's soccer match-up at Carl Dale Field.

Neither team gave an inch in this conference clash, as the action predominately took place around midfield. Allegheny (7-3-2, 2-0-0 NCAC) led Wooster (5-5-1, 0-1-1 NCAC) in shot attempts 12-7, but it was the Scots that had the most near misses on goal.

Erika Kay, who has been sidelined with an injury this fall, subbed into the match late in the first half and provided a spark on the offensive end. On one play, she sprinted past several defenders and got off a quality shot on goal, but the 'keeper made the save.

With just three minutes remaining in the first half, Kyrsten Kamlowsky drove down the right side and took a hard shot from outside the goal box that just missed by bouncing off the left post. Then early in the second half, a give-and-go between Kendal Wong and Erin Davison almost turned into a score, but the latter's shot attempt sailed a bit high.

Wooster recorded the only corner kick attempt of the match early in the second half.

Also noteworthy, this match marked the fourth time in a row these two teams have battled to a draw dating back to 2008.

Michele Ring made six saves for the Scots, while her counterpart, Emily Carr, totaled one save.

The Scots will look to pick up their first win in NCAC play when they visit Denison University Saturday at 1 p.m.
