WOOSTER, Ohio – Paige Piper recorded her third career hat trick, and Erin Davison, Erika Kay, and Kyrsten Kamlowsky each added goals as well, highlighting The College of Wooster's lopsided 6-0 victory over Oberlin College in a North Coast Athletic Conference women's soccer match Wednesday at Carl Dale Field.

The Scots (8-6-3, 3-1-3 NCAC) didn't waste any time lighting up the scoreboard, as Davison delivered a well-placed header to Piper, and the latter dribbled around the 'keeper and scored just under three minutes into the action. Then, about three minutes later, Maggie Kehm drove down the right sideline and sent a cross into the middle of the filed, which Davison booted into the back of the net to put Wooster up 2-0 early.

Piper added her second goal with 18:37 remaining in the first half, as she drove from the left wing into the goal box and buried a shot towards the far post.

Wooster went back to work after the break, as Kay scored on a cross from Piper in the 61st minute, and then Piper completed her hat trick with an unassisted goal around the 67 minute mark. Finally, Crystal Chavez blasted a shot on goal that was deflected by the goalie, but Kamlowsky gathered the rebound and found an opening to give the Scots their 6-0 margin. It marked the first goal of Kamlowsky's career.

On the day, Wooster outshot Oberlin 30-6 and posted a 6-1 advantage on corner kick attempts. Michele Ring made three saves in goal and helped log the shutout along with teammate Caitlin Zusy, while Oberlin's Kate Frost (4) and Cheryl Lindsley (3) combined to make seven saves.

Next, the Scots will close out the regular season with a visit to Wittenberg University Saturday at 3:30.
