For the second time in three days, Erika Kay provided The College of Wooster women's soccer team with a game-winning goal, as the senior scored in the 66th minute to give the Fighting Scots a 3-2 victory over Wilmington College in a non-conference tilt Sunday afternoon at Wilmington, Ohio.

Wilmington (6-1-1) entered today's match undefeated and having allowed just one goal all season, but the Scots (5-2-1) doubled that total just over 20 minutes into the action. After Sarah Watters put the Quakers ahead 1-0 in the early goings, Wooster responded with back-to-back goals from Paige Piper and Erin Davison during a 5:35 spurt to take a 2-1 lead.

The score stayed that way for nearly 35 minutes, until Wilmington's Kayla Falkenbach netted the equalizer on an assist from Watters in the 56th minute that knotted the match-up at 2-2.

Finally, just like she did Friday, Kay beat the 'keeper late in the game to give Wooster another exciting one-goal triumph. It was Kay's team-leading fifth goal of the season.

The Scots outshot the Quakers 14-11, but trailed in corner kick attempts 6-0. Goalkeeper Michele Ring was credited with three saves, while her counterpart, Sarah Stauffer, saved four shots.

Next up, Wooster takes a short trip to John Carroll University on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
