Four Named All-NCAC; Wiley Offensive Player of the Year

Miura Wiley
Claire Davis

Junior Miura Wiley was named North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year while three others joined her on All-NCAC teams.

As voted by the conference coaches, Wiley and senior Claire Davis were named to the first team. Senior Mackenzie Goltz was a second team selection, and junior Molly Hutter received an honorable mention.

Wiley appeared and started in all 21 games and led the team with 21 points, seven goals and seven assists. She scored a goal in the last three games prior to the NCAA DIII Championships, including the game-winner in the NCAC Tournament Championship game.

Among conference leaders, she tied for first in assists, second in points and fifth in goals.

Davis was part of a strong midfield as she put up two goals and one assist for five points this season. She tallied the assist in the team's 2-0 NCAC Tournament semifinal win over Denison University.

Goltz anchored the defense and even scored her first collegiate goal this year on a penalty kick in a 2-0 win at Hiram College. Goltz also was recently voted to CoSIDA's Academic All-District Team.

Hutter has been spectacular in net this season for the Scots with just 11 goals allowed and a school record 15 shutouts. Before bowing out of the NCAA DIII Championships to No. 6 Wheaton, Hutter was 7-0-2 in the last nine games without allowing a goal.

She totaled 103 saves, led the conference with a .904 save percentage and produced a goals-against-average of 0.50.

This is the first appearance on the All-NCAC team for Wiley, Goltz and Hutter. Davis was a second team selection the past two years.
