The College of Wooster women's soccer team defeated Hiram College 3-0 on Sunday in an exhibition match played at John P. Papp Stadium.

The teams played evenly until a handball to save a goal allowed junior Alexa Bencic a penalty kick which she connected on in the 55th minute.

Wooster sophomore Katie Schumacher then scored two goals in the 73rd and 82nd minute. Sophomore Madison Carter assisted on the final goal.

Senior Molly Hutter once again had a perfect day in net, fending off both shots on target sent her way. She tallied almost 60 minutes in net, while first-year Kyra Stief subbed in for the final 30 minutes.

Wooster outshot the Terriers 30-2. Fourteen of Wooster's shots were on goal.

Hiram keeper Hannah Zochowski made nine saves in 85:39 of play.

Wooster honored its seniors prior to the game which included Hutter, Meghan Badge, Elena Hart, Brie Jarrell, Kelsey Stone, Miura Wiley and Mila Zunich.
